I’d be surprised if the original of this remix passed you by completely. Starting underground and then popping up everywhere this track by FCL has had a lot of remixes but I find this one my favourite. Not that it topples the original, more it adds to it, works around it and imbibes it with a new feeling. Instead of a seductive patience we’re given an upfront enthusiastic banger, with skittering high hats and a wandering melody this ones perfect weekend fodder. Well get to it folks, those sneakers aren’t going to wear themselves out.

We’ve been waiting for this for a while now, Isaac Tichauer’s new solo EP on French Express is about to drop, and to ease us in this free track ‘Take over you’ will do just that. It plumbs a deeper depth than a lot of Isaac’s productions but showcases his usual flair for addictive vocal treatments and serves to whet the appetite for the other 4 track on the EP out in a matter of days.

Daniel Solar and his Dikso imprint have always been welcome in our house and on more than once occasion we’ve involved him and his label buddy Andi in our releases. Today Daniel Solar has a tasty freebie for us. It’s a track he couldn’t release due to sampling issues but now he’s rebuilt it with all original parts and decided to gift it to us all to say thanks, nice when people are generous isn’t it. This has a rolling patience that we associate with Daniels sound and has the required deepness to stamp his name all over it. This one just grows and grows, just give it patience and it will reward you. Thanks Daniel, come visit again soon.
