Marvin Gaye – Got To Give It Up (Mic Newman Remix)1

It was with great trepidation that I pressed play on this edit. I absolutely adore the origional track. The only reason I was curious enough to press play at all was because it was a Mic Newman remix, so I know it was in good hands. Mic’s productions are always crisp, vocal heavy and bossy as hell. This is no exception. His vocal treatment has given Marvin an eerie chorus. Serious slo motion club antics with this track. Marvin wouldn’t be turning in his grave but he’d probably be tapping his foot.
